About me
Hello! My name is Tatiana and I’m a 50-year-old woman living in a cozy cottage nestled in the Southeastern part of Athens, Greece. My days are filled with the company of my three beloved dogs—a German Shepherd and two mixed breed strays who found their way into my heart. Life here, surrounded by nature, is simple but fulfilling.
One of my lifelong passions is collecting postcards, a hobby I’ve cherished since I was 14. Over the years, my collection has grown into a tangible memory of places, (many of them I have already visited) stories, and moments captured in ink and images. Alongside this, I’ve developed a deep love for bookbinding and calligraphy—crafts that I incorporate into my daily life. There’s something magical about creating a beautifully bound book or writing with a delicate hand, both of which help me feel connected to the past and to the present.
Perhaps one of the most important aspects of my life is the art of correspondence. I have pen friends all over the world, (a few of them I have already met) and I continue to keep this old-fashioned form of communication alive. Through letters, I exchange stories, ideas, and experiences with people from different corners of the globe.
This blog serves as a personal diary—a place where I can share my thoughts, adventures, and creative endeavors. Here, you’ll find snippets of my life, from the joy of a well-crafted letter to the serene moments spent with my dogs in my cottage. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
